Jesus' Mindset
In this kingdom lens, Scripture is not treated as a mere data source, but as covenant-bound revelation: theopneustos breathing-out is the Spirit-driven superintending work whereby the self-existent God communicates in human language without diminution of authority. Since God is truth, inerrancy is metaphysically anchored: His speech cannot mislead because His character cannot be false. Spirit-illumined faith then functions as the epistemological link between infinite and finite, so knowing God is not autonomous reason but dependent receiving under the King's Word. Kingdom Perspective

Kingdom vision starts as the church recovers a theocentric lens: doctrine is no longer a religious label for individual benefit, but a truth weighed against the limitless greatness of the I AM. This reorientation restructures all: finite existence is seen as relation to the self-existent Creator, whose being is the only absolute standard of truth.
In this frame, sin is not a small failure but cosmic betrayal: an attempt by the creature to seize autonomy from the Fountain of life. Holiness then is not simple morality, but the Lord's ontological otherness and purity that exposes defilement. Repentance is therefore not simple remorse, but a allegiant return from self-rule to the rule of God, a reordering of volition, desires, and mind.
Righteousness becomes covenant fidelity and moral congruence with God's own nature, not a self-built status. Justice is God's living maintenance of His righteous order, so orgē is not impulse but stable pure resistance to sin. Mercy and charis are not leniency; they are the Trinitarian God acting to recreate human life without diluting justice. In redemption, the cross is the Creator stepping into curse to bear judgment and secure communion; new birth is the Spirit life-imparting invasion that forms faith and initiates sanctification. Practically, this Kingdom lens produces reverent worship, truth-formed prayer, moral integrity, and mission compelled by God's gravitas rather than ease.
A covenantal lens further recasts the way we know God: illumination is not new revelation, but the Spirit-driven work of unsealing the sight of the heart to behold the worth of God in the Son by the written Word. Since God is Spirit and self-existent, this seeing goes beyond mere unaided rationality, breaking through the noetic effects of sin. In the same frame, prophecy is not merely forecast, but Spirit-inspired proclamation of the Lord's covenantal purposes, showing that history is teleological and advances toward the consummation of God's Kingdom. Covenant, then, is the binding relational order by which God commits His name to His creation, not as human contracts, but as God-grounded promises secured by His character. Kingdom Perspective
